Terms and Conditions
1. RETURN OF PRODUCTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXCHANGE
Within 8 days from the Date of Purchase and where all the conditions listed below are satisfied, the Customer would be able to return the product if:
1.1 Product is a furniture item. Accessories are not exchangeable;
1.2 Product is included in the sales invoice / receipt issued by Casa Kidi;
1.3 Its original sales invoice must be presented;
1.4 Product is in stock. Any product which is not in stock, a back order shall be made for the customer. This order shall be regarded as a special indent order and it is not exchangeable;
1.5 Product is not yet collected, delivered and / or assembled;
1.6 For the avoidance of doubt, it is stated here that no cash refund shall be given. The Customer may use the e-Credits to purchase other goods in Casa Kidi’s product range.
2. RECOVERY OF SET DISCOUNTS IN THE EVENT OF AN EXCHANGE
Casa Kidi reserves the right to recover 100% of the set discount from the customer, regardless of partial or full set exchange. The e-Credits to be refunded shall be less the 100% value of the set discount given.
3.1 Recovery of e-Credits in the event of an exchange Casa Kidi reserves the right to recover any e-Credit rebates issued during the purchase of a product, whenever the Customer exchanges the product for whatsoever reason. The e-Credits to be refunded shall be less the corresponding e-credits that were issued to the customer during the initial purchase.
3.2 Expiry date of e-Credits Casa Kidi e-Credits shall be valid till the next year’s corresponding quarter (i.e.1 Jan, 1 April, 1 July or 1 Oct), depending on which quarter the e-credits were issued.
4 ORDER CANCELLATION
Once the payment is made and accepted, no cancellation of order is accepted, except where clause 1 applies
5 DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY
5.1.1. A one-time (1) free delivery and assembly within Singapore only shall be given to purchases more than $800 and above. Otherwise, $50 per trip delivery fee will be charged.
5.1.2 Through no fault of Casa Kidi and a second trip delivery/ assembly is required, the customer has to pay for the delivery charge at S$50 and prevailing assembly charges.
5.1.3 An $8.00 surcharge will be imposed for each floor the Casa Kidi’s delivery contractor has to carry the product upon exiting the lift landing, and is payable by cash directly to the said contractor.
5.2 Adding-on Orders or Changes in Delivery date
5.2.1 Customer must notify Casa Kidi of any add on or change of delivery date. This should be made at least 3 days in advance of the delivery date. For any notice lesser than 3 days, a delivery surcharge of $28.00 shall be imposed and is payable upon cash on delivery. Casa Kidi will not be held responsible for any additional cost to the customer due to multiple delivery dates.
5.3 Delays in delivery
5.3.1 The date and time for delivery of the Goods and / or Services given by Casa Kidi to the Customer shall be an estimate only. Casa Kidi shall not be liable for any loss or damage howsoever arising by reason of any failure on the part of Casa Kidi to effect delivery for the Customer at the time or date stated.
5.4 Incomplete delivery or Damaged goods
5.4.1 The Customer may accept the delivered goods and report the incomplete delivery and/or defect to our Customer Care centre at 6227 2000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery.
5.4.2 If a defect (deficiency or failure) is found in the purchased Product, Casa Kidi may repair, exchange or refund in e-credits, the product at Casa Kidi’s discretion, in accordance with the nature of each case.
5.4.3 Where a delivery is made by Casa Kidi’s delivery contractors and Goods are lost or damaged in transit, Casa Kidi will repair or at its option, replace free of charge any such goods or refund in e-credits (clause 3.1 and 3.2 apply).
5.5 Storage of goods due to unsuccessful delivery
5.5.1 All goods may be stored for up to one (1) month from the initial delivery date. Otherwise, Casa Kidi has the right to donate to Charity any goods stored at its premises exceeding that time frame.
6 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In respect of any claims on the Goods and/ or Services supplied, the liability of Casa Kidi shall be limited to: (i) the actual cost of repair or replacement of any Goods shown to have been defective or to the actual cost of remedying the defective performance by Casa Kidi ; or (ii) the contract price of the Goods or Services supplied under the Contract, whichever is the lesser. Casa Kidi accepts no liability for economic or consequential loss howsoever arising, including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing loss of profit and loss of business.
7 FORCE MAJEURE
Casa Kidi shall not be in breach of any Contract if there is any total or partial failure of performance by it of its duties and obligations under that Contract occasioned by any act of God, fire, act of government or state, act of terrorism, war civil commotion, insurrection, embargo, prevention from or hindrance in obtaining any raw materials, energy or other supplies, labour disputes of whatever nature and any other reason beyond its reasonable control.
8.1 The Proper Law of This Contract shall be governed by the law of Singapore and any dispute, question or remedy howsoever arising determined exclusively by the Courts of Singapore
